Key Loggers
A keylogger is a malicious program which infects the user's computer via routine software downloads, e-mail attachments, or files shared over a person-to-person network. The keylogger copies the keystrokes of a computer user and sends them to the thief or author of the keylogger program.
Most up-to-date anti-virus / anti-spyware programs will detect and remove keylogger programs. If you suspect your computer has a keylogger program, do not visit any websites or use other software that may require personal information such as internet banking user id / password, credit card numbers, and other personal information until the keylogger has been removed.
